This hitting gem is as low-key as you can get in Coconut Grove Miami. The vibe reminds me a lot of living in Southern California in one of those old surf towns. Great food great service very low-key just a great place to wind down. Enjoy great fresh seafood, and have a couple of beers.

Looking for fresh, local seafood in Miami? This little shop in Coconut Grove is a great place to pick up the catch of the day. Select a fish and they will filet it for you on the spot. Tonight, we are having a nice snapper. There is also a selection of locally sourced hot sauces and citrus fruit. It is an added bonus to know your purveyors and where your food is coming from.

Nice, an unique experience; very down to earth, casual, nice background area. I lived . Food is ok, you get your own beer … it was great

Sure, the door is fantastic. No place like it in Miami. The owner is super kind and hands-on. You feel like you’re sitting in a fish shack in the Bahamas when you’re there. Food’s great, love the wahoo bites. Place is just so charming. Basically there’s a giant tub of ice cold beers and waters and a chalkboard and it’s on the honor system. You just help yourself and write down your name and how many beers you had as you go. Just a special place. Hidden away, not open all the time but worth the effort. Well, worth the effort.

Low key and casual place, but don’t get me wrong: the fish served here cannot be fresher. We had a blast with stone crab claws. Simply a fantastic happy place. I recommend this hidden gem 100%, this is a must go

Finally made it to Shore to Door after hearing intriguing things about it. Absolutely loved the laid back atmosphere and decor, the honor system for cold beers—you just grab them from the ice chest and make a chalk mark by your name-and the shrimp followed by the whole fried yellow snapper were excellent. If you’re in the mood for a different side of Miami, well worth checking out!
